After signing with adidas back in July, Mesut Ozil was officially welcomed into the three-stripe family on Wednesday.  The midfielder was greeted by fellow German internationals, Real Madrid players, and Real assistant coach Zinedine Zidane in the adidas video.



The presentation to fans was made at the adidas store in the Spanish capital before jumping on a tour bus for a quick trip around town and then ending the whirlwind event with a photos at the Bernabeu.



With some much team-spirit at the event the issue on everyone¡¯s mind was the rumors Ozil was looking to make a Premier League move ahead of the closing of the transfer window.  But Ozil quickly dismissed those notions reiterating his desire to stay at the Bernabeu.



During my talks with adidas I felt at home immediately,¡± ?zil said back in July. ¡°adidas is the number one and has a unique history in the world of football. I wear adidas jerseys when playing for the German national team and for Real Madrid. We've now come full circle with this partnership, and I am very proud to be part of the adidas family.¡±



Ozil signed with adidas after ending his long relationship with Nike.  He has been wearing the adidas Predator LZ TRX FG in the Ray Green/Black/Electricity colorway.  It is a huge signing for adidas.  In addition to being one of the top players in the world, Ozil is liked by over 10 million fans on facebook and has almost 3 million followers on twitter.
