In a pleasant if unexpected surprise, adidas have given us a sneaky peak at the next F50 adiZero colourway on the feet of Bastian Schweinsteiger.

On set with the Bayern Munich star in Germany, adidas decided to let us see the new Navy/White/Pink version of their speed boots in a series of videos posted on Twitter via Vine.

For those not up to speed with Vine, its a new social video service from the makers of Twitter that encourages users to post 6-second looping videos of whatever is around them.

In adidas case, that just happened to be one of the most well-regarded footballers on the planet, wearing a hot new release just another day in the office for @adidasfootball, then!

The fact that adidas are shooting promotional videos and images of Schweinsteiger in the F50 adiZero?is surely confirmation that the German international is moving away from the adiPure line to become a fully-fledged speed player.

Whilst we dont necessarily associate the midfielder with pace, this could be due to a reshuffle of the adidas deck as they look at releasing something new in a few months time something that Schweinsteiger himself has already tested!
