The latest adidas cleat to get a new colorway, the infrared Predator LZ II SL is a shoe that is bound to get you noticed!  



The Predator LZ II SL is a shoe that attempts to offer the perfect blend between speed, power, and control. This version of the adidas Predator LZ has redesigned predator zones for a new look. This SL version is even lighter than models of days gone by past SL models as well as the current stock standard Predator LZ II. The cleats also come with an extra sockliner, shoe bag and a spare pair of laces.





The main difference between the LZ II and its SL brother are the uppers. While the LZ II features HybridTouch, the upper of the SL version is comprised of an ultra light SprintSkin that makes for a lightweight and durable boot with an incredible feel on the ball. SprintSkin is a revolutionary single-layer upper material that adidas has perfected for incredible ball control.



Of course, the boot would not be a proper Predator if it did not feature any of adidas¡¯ storied Predator technologies. Just like the standard model of the Predator LZ II, the SL version features five lethal zones to help control the ball with every touch. Predator elements have been engineered and placed according to their specific function.

The five Lethal Predator Zones deliver control for dribbling, first touch, the sweet spot, driving and passing:

1 ¨C The dribble zone is designed for quick contact with the ball and close control.
2 ¨C The large first touch zone has recessed ribs to cushion impact and stop the ball. It¡¯s a vacuum effect for instant control.
3 ¨C On the sweet spot zone 3D ribs ensure longer contact with the ball to generate speed and spin.
4 ¨C The drive zone has a raised and thicker 3D shape following the natural curve of the instep to help create rebound distance and open the game.
5 ¨C The large control/pass zone is memory foam with a sticky coating on top. This ensures consistency, precision and killer passing.


Another welcome feature is the nubuck heel lining that offers super soft comfort. Asymmetrical lacing increases your strike zone, making sure that power is not sacrificed for control.


As with all of adidas¡¯ top end boots these days, the adidas Predator LZ II SL is compatible with miCoach. As for the rest of the outsole, a lightweight SprintFrame TPU with Traxion 2.0 stud configuration allows for maximum grip on firm, natural surfaces. The adidas Predator LZ II SL weighs in at an astonishing 7.3 ounces.
