Messidona Stuns the Nou Camp with A Cracker

Adidas football boot wearer Lionel Messi took a step closer to his hero Diego Maradona as Messi scored a wonder goal that is comparable to the goal Maradona scored against England in the 1986 World Cup, the game that produced the infamous Hand of God goal.

Messis goal, wearing the Adidas Tunits in Titan colourway, came for Barcelona against Getafe in the Copa del Rey semifinals almost 21 years after the master he is so often likened to. Messi agreed his goal was similar to Diegos but added he could never be compared with the former Argentina star, simply saying of the goal it was quite good.

The goal was more than quite good, it was a sublime display of technical skill, ability and flair that puts Messi on a footing with team mate Ronaldinho. Messi had collected possession just inside his own half and proceeded to dribble past no fewer than six Getafe players before coolly slotting in past a helpless goalkeeper.

However Getafe coach Bernd Schuster was more reluctant to praise Messis wonder goal, blaming his team for not stopping the run, saying We should have fouled him. To be fair Getafes defenders tried, but Messi in his Titan Adidas football boots proved that when he plays at his best sometimes, the impossible is nothing!
