Italian Giants Juventus have just announced huge news, signing a new six-year deal with Adidas to become the club¡¯s new technical sponsor starting in the 2015/2016 season.

According to a statement released on their official website, adidas will become the new technical sponsor of all Juventus teams for a fee of $192.65 million over a six-year term. This doesn¡¯t include, royalty payments for product sales, performance related incentives or bonuses, which might make that figure even bigger.

¡°For the current season and the 2014/2015 campaign, Nike will continue in its role of technical sponsor and trademark licensee¡± the club added in their press release.

This deal means a huge hit for Nike, who have been with the Vecchia Signora for the past 10 years and recently lost another top club, Arsenal, to rivals Puma.

Now, it wouldn¡¯t be too hard to see the American brand going for some new top club to fill the void.
