Following in the footsteps of the Primeknit released only two weeks ago, the Crazylight is another boot Adidas intend to change the face of the market and it demonstrates their ability to produce game changing boots – or at least boots that challenge the market norm.

So, what is so special about this boot? At a phenomenally lightweight?4.7oz, it is 20% lighter than the previous adizero F50 and becomes the lightest soccer cleat ever released to market.?Following on from the mind boggling ¡°concept¡± launch of the adizero 99g (3.4oz) boot last year, adidas used some of the innovation on those boots to decrease the weight of the current range. Dropping things to 3.4oz would be extreme and it is a case of step-by-step before they get to that level.?

The adidas Innovation Team has developed a totally new, innovative next-generation lightweight skin which drastically reduces the weight on the upper part of the boot, while still guaranteeing high quality and performance. The sleek black and green colored arrow design showcases the perception of forward motion, finished off with bright orange adidas three-stripes.

In addition to new lightweight upper skin the SPEEDTRAXION stud configuration on the outsole has been rearranged in order to increase traction, while also further decreasing the overall weight of the boot. The pattern on the outsole is laser etched and a premium anodized coating is also added to minimise weight and guarantee a premium finish on the overall design. The base of outsole construction is the SPRINTFRAME, a strong but lightweight lower section that offers players a perfectly balanced boot.
